Cancellation Policy
1. Overview
This Cancellation Policy explains how healthcare providers may cancel their MeritReach Provider Membership, how cancellations are processed, and the responsibilities of both MeritReach and its members. By enrolling in a MeritReach membership, providers acknowledge that they have reviewed and agree to this Cancellation Policy in addition to the Provider Membership Agreement, Provider Code of Conduct, Terms of Service, and Privacy Policy. This policy applies to all recurring provider memberships unless otherwise stated in a separate written agreement.
2. Cancellation by Provider
Providers may cancel their membership at any time through their account dashboard or by contacting MeritReach Support. Cancellation requests become effective at the end of the current paid billing period unless otherwise required by law. Cancelling a membership prevents future recurring charges but does not automatically generate refunds for previous payments. Providers remain responsible for any outstanding balances incurred prior to cancellation.
3. Cancellation by MeritReach
MeritReach reserves the right to suspend or terminate a membership if a provider violates the Provider Membership Agreement, Provider Code of Conduct, Terms of Service, applicable laws, or engages in fraudulent, deceptive, abusive, or unsafe practices. When practical, MeritReach may provide notice and an opportunity to resolve non-material violations before terminating membership. Immediate suspension or termination may occur when necessary to protect families, users, other providers, or the integrity of the MeritReach platform.
4. Notice Periods
Unless otherwise required by law or specified in a written agreement, cancellation requests submitted before the next billing cycle will prevent future recurring charges. Providers are encouraged to submit cancellation requests several business days before their renewal date to allow sufficient processing time. MeritReach is not responsible for delays caused by incomplete account information, payment processing delays, or inaccurate contact information.
5. Effective Date
Following cancellation, provider profiles may be removed from public search results, referral matching, provider directories, and other membership benefits at the conclusion of the paid billing period. Certain records may be retained as required by law, for fraud prevention, dispute resolution, regulatory compliance, or legitimate business purposes. Cancellation does not remove obligations that accrued before cancellation became effective.
6. Rejoining MeritReach
Former providers may apply for a new membership at any time, subject to MeritReach's current eligibility requirements, pricing, verification standards, and platform policies. Previous violations, unpaid balances, fraudulent activity, or repeated policy violations may affect eligibility for future membership.
7. Contact Information
Questions regarding cancellations may be directed to MeritReach Support using the contact information published on the MeritReach website. MeritReach will make reasonable efforts to respond to cancellation-related inquiries in a timely manner during normal business operations.
