Provider Code of Conduct
Professional Standards
Providers participating in MeritReach are expected to act with honesty, professionalism, and respect in all interactions with families, caregivers, other providers, and MeritReach representatives. Provider information, service descriptions, images, and communications must be accurate, current, and not misleading.
Client Interactions
Providers must communicate with families and care decision-makers in a respectful, timely, and professional manner. Providers may not pressure, harass, mislead, or exploit families seeking care information. All provider communications should support informed decision-making and reflect the seriousness of care-related choices.
Confidentiality
Providers are responsible for protecting the privacy and confidentiality of any information shared by families, caregivers, or other users. Providers must follow all applicable privacy, healthcare, consumer protection, and confidentiality requirements that apply to their services and business operations.
Conflicts of Interest
Providers must avoid deceptive practices, undisclosed conflicts, false claims, or misleading representations about services, pricing, licensing, availability, outcomes, or qualifications. Providers must not imply that MeritReach guarantees referrals, clients, rankings, revenue, admissions, or care outcomes.
Reporting Concerns
Providers should promptly notify MeritReach of inaccurate profile information, licensing changes, ownership changes, service changes, complaint concerns, or any issue that could affect provider eligibility, family safety, platform trust, or professional standards.
Enforcement
MeritReach may review, limit, suspend, or terminate provider participation if a provider violates this Code of Conduct, the Provider Membership Agreement, Terms of Service, applicable law, or MeritReach platform standards. MeritReach may take action when necessary to protect families, users, providers, or the integrity of the platform.
Updates to Code of Conduct
MeritReach may update this Provider Code of Conduct from time to time to reflect changes in applicable laws, platform features, operational practices, or business requirements.
The most current version will always be published on the MeritReach website. Continued participation in the MeritReach Provider Membership Program after updates become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Code of Conduct.
